About Me

Hold you head high and smile, it makes OTHERS feel good.

  1. After my last surgery I had staples on top. My skin reacted with the metal. Unfortunately they could not remove them (7 inches of them) so I just used a topical. I've had incisions finished with the glue also but no problem for me. On an interesting note. A different surgery had about the same amount of staples on they were on my leg...no reaction to...

  3. Hi Bane and Welcome to the Forum. Ditto....Get tested now. Make sure the full panel is ordered. Then the next step is endoscopic biopsies. Good luck. Colleen

Have you searched for this issue connected to Autoimmune Diseases? AI Diseases like to have friends. Have you considered Histamines? I second the notion of cutting out all Sodium Laural Sulfates. Could...
  5. Hi JD. Two thoughts for you. Stress can definitely make you sick. Stress can lower the immune system all by itself. https://www.yahoo.com/health/from-the-brain-to-the-immune-system-how-stress-118300620327.html Mindfulness is the perfect place to start. Classic Celiac symptoms vary from person to person, there are over 300 symptoms, and a blood test and endoscopic biopsy is needed to diagnose it. Dermatitis...
  7. I'm glad you don't have to take the Pred. Hopefully you can get to remission. Feel better! Colleen
  8. How did the appointment go. How are you feeling?
  9. You just need to read the labels. You will need to learn to read labels everytime you purchase something. Good Luck, Colleen
  10. This Paper does not talk about gluten in any way shape or form. Eggs are a naturally gluten free food, as is chicken. Please do not assume this study applies to anything but soy. Colleen
  11. My Hubs loves potatos, he made a potato cannon as a kid and had a fine time.
  12. Hubs took me out for lunch today. Went to the Roosters place. I talked to the Kitchen Mgr., as usual, and they use sauces and seasoning on the grill. He offered to clean a section of grill for me to make my chicken. So thankful to this Manager. He went beyond what I expected Had a wonderful Chicken Cesar Salad. Yummmmm
  13. Add Me Tall, Dark and Beyond Handsome I have. I'm in it for the spectacular views.....
  14. I've got these frozen taquito things in my freezer left of from my son. I should probably toss em. We had Hubs Famous Tacos tonight...very yummers and I'm munching on Caramel Corn for dessert.
