  1. ok. im extremely new to this site and celiacs.... so bare with me please! i had blackened cat fish at work on a lunch break and had a horrible reaction within 15 min of so after eating it. i figured it was fish and it wasnt breaded or anything so it would be safe. the only thing i could think of is that maybe it was contaminated by a piece of bread they put in the to go box or the spices they used like maybe the red pepper or something.... anyone had a reaction to spices or seasonings or similiar to asthma attack ? i really had trouble breathing for a little bit and felt like i had to keep clearing my throat and chest was sort of tight as well as my stomach later got upset like usualy being accidentally glutened.... dr's nurse said spices dont usually matter when i asked her if they were somthing i should watch out for, however that being said she also looked up on her phone to tell me what ingredients were most important in the vitamins i shoudl start supplementing with as well.
  2. hello im new here so hello everyone! anyone know of a good gluten free mouthwash? i have sensitive gums, and type one diabetes as well as newly diagnosed celiacs... thank you!
  3. All of this info is helpfull..... my gi dr. told me to find a good mutli vitamin with mainly five ingredients are the most important ones which are vitamin D, iron, selenium, copper and magnesium... she also said that prenatal may be better than reg even if you're not pregnant bc they have higher levels. i know i can not take womens one a day as they make me feel terrible and this both times i tried to take them before i had my gi biopsy and before i knew what was wrong with me. so now im kind of afraid to take them in fear of feeling crummy. anyone have an opinion on what makes them feel the best and if i should go with the prenatal rather than a regular kind? i just want to not feel weak and afraid to excercise again. i also may need to say i have type one diabetes and anemic so any help for a newly diagnosed would be awesome im still learning ..... thanks
