  1. Hi my name is kathie, I am 62 years old. Three or four years ago I scratched my ears raw. I went to the ear Dr. and she told me I shouldnt be using Q Tips.... REALLY ? anyway I did a lot of research on line. It turns out if it is seeded fruit, made into juice, like apple, or cherry, orange etc. it may be an allergic reaction. However, you wont get it if you have apple sauce because it has been cooked. I read on this site last night that someone had such pain in her jaw from her itchy ears.... Ok, I am wondering if you have amalgonnated fillings? Years ago for about 12 years I came down with swollen glands under my neck, very painful. No Dr. could figure it out...'was in a major car accident, back teeth needed to be replaced, no more swollen glands! I have an auto immune defiencey disease, neutropenia. In the last 10 years I have been battling ibs... someone here made th correlation between itchy ears and celiac problems... thank you..l for I believe now the Dr. can help. ....
