  1. Thanks for the information from all of you but I don't see myself asking questions, commenting or starting a New topic too much. It seems as though I have not been a good girl and I don't do these things right so I may just find my info elsewhere. Thanks buches!
  2. I am New to this site, only 1 week or so, I would like to ask a question about cross contamination...I have a spouse that has many health issues and I don't believe that he can go gluten free (waiting to hear from his doctor) so there fore I would like to be able to continue making his food that he loves and needs for him and also make gluten free for my self. I find that when I even heat up soup for him I feel some sort of sigh of cc. Would I need to protect my hands and have seperate utensils for my preps? Please help me someone, I so not know anyone gluten-free around me that I can talk to. Thanks in advance! Mediators, sorry for my errors, I am New and did not know better...slap, slap on my hand! Lol thanks
  3. How many do suffer from heartburn since the diagnosis of gluten sensitivity? I have been gluten free for 2 and half weeks and the heartburn is terrible. Would love some feedback on the best thing to take for it. Thanks so much in advance.
  4. I wish that the public and doctors were more aware of this condition. They never check the simple things you say is wring with you and go North instead of south! Lol The plants that process these products need to understand mist of all.
  5. What else should we be concerned with? I wish more people knew that this is an extreme problem!
  6. Can you get cross contamination from the wooden spoons used in cooking? I guess I should throw them away and get New ones. What about the rest of my plastics and wooden bowls? I am so confused with this New diet!!!
  7. I find my taste buds totally off. I have noticed lately that I do still have them they just weren't working right! Lol
  8. What about b12 and folic acid?
  9. I read on the can that they are processed in a plant that processes wheat, not sure I want to try them.
  10. I do not have insurance and I tried taking the gluten out and all seems to be going much better for me. No hyperthyroidism, diminishing....pains in the stomach, diminishing....constipation, diminishing...I feel so much better. I already have vitiligo and I went through some stress about 4 years ago and have been suffering since. Now all I have to do is put some weight on and I will feel much better. I could not go the gluten route any longer, I was on the brink of malnutrition.
  11. Corn Sensitivity

I guess I will be eliminating corn now. I cooked a stew and made the roux with the corn oil and every this g else was gluten-free and I am in pain now, was feeling good after going gluten-free for 2 weeks now. Now that I am reading these results of a corn gluten I think I will be trying this now. Thanks for the info....hope everyone feels better soon.
  12. Sugar And Fruit Problems

What is this whole30? I am New to the celiac scene. I have not officially been diagnosed but have done my research for my symptoms. I do not have insurance and will try anything to feel better after 4 years! I am in pain now and I think it is from cross contamination. I discarded some regular four in the garbage and washed the dish and I feel bad. I cooked a gluten free meal and am guessing if I should put my gluten-free flour in the same container or just throw it away. I going crazy?
  13. I agree with the safety net option for nights out or on vacation but not for everyday, not too big on taking pills.
  14. Newbie ... Blog And New Friends

Cleaned pantry and I am gluten free...I think! I cooked a beef stew today with white rice and broccoli. I have had some signs but now I have read that it could take a while to get out of my system. How long before I can tell if I am Eaton g gluten free. A lot of the products say gluten-free but I am just so confused on some products. I cannot live with this anymore, I am miserable. I believe that I acquired a hyperthyroidism condition also, when will that clear up? I need help, there are not alot of restaurants that offer gluten-free here in Louisiana. Oh and I also suffer with heartburn without any reason, what's up with that. Anyone else has that issue? Thanks ahead of time for any help from yall.
  15. Trying a beef stew using white rice flour, so far so good, all looks the same! Can't wait to make a gumbo!
