  1. I have had ringing in my ears, vertigo and numbness in my face, hands and feet and it was so bad I was hospitalized for a week because I couldn't walk. It turns out I was vitamin B deficient. After taking sublingual vitamin B and being diagnosed Celiacs it all went away. Now I am currently on a gluten free diet and taking regular vitamin B and the tinnitus is coming back. My only explanation is that regular vitamin B is still not being absorbed. I have none of the stomach issues associated with celiacs, just the tinnitus and headache. The sublingual vitamin B works much better.
  2. I Need Some Advice

I am sorry you feel so tired and ill. You may want to have your iron levels checked, you may be anemic or deficient in vitamins. It sounds like you really need to see a doctor. Before I was diagnosed, I had similar symptoms but with severe stomach pain. I had 2 negative blood tests, a negative stomach biopsy and finally a positive biopsy. It is very difficult to diagnose. Try to stick with the diet, but I would avoid eating out at restaurants. I have found it very difficult to eat out without getting cross contaminated. The omelette you ate was probably prepared on a grill previously used to cook gluten containing foods, or the seasoning added could have been contaminated (I don't know for sure) but I do know that I have gotten sick from a crumb of wheat. I hope you pursue your health issues with a doctor. Sometimes you really need to push. Best of luck!
  3. I have also reacted to wheat derived vodka and I am super sensitive. I know drink potato vodka with no problems. Good luck!
  4. I am a super sensitive Celiac and have recently tried Cheez Wiz in Canada, and I was fine. I have reacted to many other products listed as gluten free by the manufacturer which were under 20 ppm such as Frenchs Mustard (I am currently having a severe reaction to Frenchs Yellow Mustard) but Cheez Wiz has not caused me any grief. Hooray!!
  5. This may be an old topic, but it is very new for me. I usually eat Heinz yellow mustard and have not had any problems with it. I accidentally used Frenchs on my hamburger, and within 1/2 an hour, I started to react. I have been diagnosed with Celiacs since June 2012 and have been doing great. I started to bloat up, got a headache, dizzy, very red eyes, red spots on my thighs and severe stomach ache. I have vomited several times, not food, but maybe blood. I have reacted to other grain alcohols which being distilled, are supposed to be safe. I have read that Frenches yellow mustard is gluten free to 20 ppm, but the source of the vinegar is ethyl alcohol, which can come from wheat. This is the article I read: I know I am very sensitive, but has anyone else had issues with Frenchs mustard???
