  1. I wonder if acupuncture will help remove the half-life that you researched? I have been gluten-free for 4 months and have no libido. I have also removed diary and sugar too. My labs show normal thyriod. Do you have that article or have you been through a similiar raod with this? How long did it take you?
  2. I posted this topic in another forum but noone provided any substance telling me I had to go to another doctor? I was doing fine until I went gluten free, and yes the libido went away, actually its still away. Doctors are cluless. So here goes... I have cut gluten dairy and processed sugar. I feel great, like a new person. I have gone gluten free for 3 months. I have been to an endocrinologist and labs are normal. For ex: thyroid and cortical are just fine. My libido is gone! It comes back in waves or very brief periods for like 1 or 2 weeks and then does a complete vanishing act?! I’m otherwise healthy and workout a lot too at age 35. No meds no nothing presently. I take vitamins, minerals,B-12 especially, zinc, vit e as well. Yes to L-glutamine, yes to probiotics. I do my own cooking, spending some 3 hours in the kitchen ea. weekend. So who has experienced this symptom? When will libido return? I have sought the advice of 1 dr. and 20 nutrionists whom all chalk it up to withdrawal/detox? Please provide me more details?

  4. Its been 3 months, gluten free, dairy free, and sugar free. My libido is Gone!. Please anyone whenwillit come back?My labs from the doctor are normal, as in thyroid and cortisol. What is the time frame?
  5. I have gone gluten free and have been for the last 2 months now and my libido is gone, it has done a complete vanishng act. I am taing vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. Still no response from my sex drive. I am otherwise healthy and 35 years old and noticed this only after going gluten-free. My lab work from the endo came back last week and says all is normal. No thyroid issues, cortisol levels are normal too. So does anyone on here know when this side effect will go away? I have read that gluten antibodies become half after 3 months after going gluten free and then another three months those antibodies become half and so on. This process could take 6-9 months from what I read. Some people say recovery depends on the person. If anyone knows more or has gone through this libido crash after going glute-free, please send a message. I really need your sound advise. Thank you -
