  1. And here's the third video by Joe Rignola ... "putting out the fire ... how to take an active role in healing". http://theglutencoach.yolasite.com/gfvideo4a814.php
  2. And the third video which gives on overview of how to have an active role in healing and "put out the fire" ... http://theglutencoach.yolasite.com/gfvideo4a814.php
  3. Another excellent video by Joe Rinolda: http://theglutencoach.yolasite.com/gfvideo3a813.php
  4. Here's another excellent video by Joe Rignola: http://theglutencoach.yolasite.com/gfvideo3a813.php
  5. I think I need to clarify my statement in post # 162 from my perspective. I've nursed in three different countries and I don't live in the US. It has taken me 40 years to get a diagnosis. I have simply shared my journey and my experience/findings.
  6. As one of the guests pointed out in the Second Opinion video I posted above ... this is the chameleon of diseases. And it manifests itself in many different ways. We are lucky if we find a doctor who has the time to explain things and I always, always get copies of my medical notes from each visit. I keep a file of my own medical history. That comes from going back to the same doctor/s and having my records gone missing! The other thing I'm finding really interesting is the book my dietitian recommended: "How doctors think" by Jerome Groopman
  7. And here's another one that is very worthwhile watching: Second Opinion: Celiac Disease
  8. Thank you ... and here's another video that is worthwhile watching. I'll post this over on the other forum too. Second Opinion: Celiac Disease
  9. Can you do that please and thank you : ) You know where it belongs : )
  10. This is well worth watching ... "Gluten and Autoimmunity Explained in 20 Minutes"
  11. Really helpful ... I usually do a lot of baking/cooking but have been away from it for a while (wonder why? : ) and I've just been cooking simple stews and soups and eating lots of apple sauce and bananas. I'll be ready to tackle baking again soon and the smaller pans idea is great! Tks
  12. Don't worry ... milk is far from my mind still. I want to be feeling much better before I even think about the kefir or yogourt. Now it's time to empty out all the cabinets and see what else is hiding there! And then figure out what to replace it with : ) Thanks for the info about the shampoo. I'm just so relieved I figured out what it is! What a trip! I think I'm starting to get the hang of it prickly ...
  13. Thank you Squirmy and Prickly ... I would never have believed it until it happened over and over in the last five weeks (and obviously over the heavens knows how many years before!). You don't have to apologize ... and I believe it was one of you that told me to keep a food diary and that is what helped to to connect the dots....I wasn't ingesting anything that I could link this to ... except the milk maybe. But when I wasn't touching milk products then I started to feel really discouraged until "the light went on" ... I think my eyes must have been as big as saucers when I picked up the shampoo bottle ... and the conditioner ... and read "poison lurks here" ... hydrolyzed wheat protein. I'm feeling much more optimistic about things now despite the discomfort ... I feel like I'm back in control again
  14. Jyn, Read my post from this morning! http://www.celiac.com/gluten-free/topic/101694-dermatitis-herpetiformis-my-journey/?p=874537
