  1. Thanks. I am a a diagnosed Celiac. I meant that I'm supposed to get retested to see if I'm healing, and wanted to know if that accidental glutening would show up. Thanks for clearing it up. Another question- if my symptoms aren't so strong, and small gluten doesn't show up on the test, how do I know if I'm not cross-contaminated by mistake (since there are gluten eaters around me and even though I do my best, I'm not sure), and that my gut is healing? Thanks.
  2. Hi Recently I ate something that apparently had a small amount of gluten. My symptoms aren't that strong, so I can't be sure. A. Does this reverse my body to stage A? How can I heal my body? B. I needed to do a blood test to check my celiac levels and another biopsy. Do you think that a small amount of gluten will show up in the test? If yes, when do you think I can do the tests? Thanks
  3. I'm not looking for a treatment, I just have some questions I want answered by an expert. Thanks.
  4. Hi. I'm looking for an experienced doctor who has experience and is up to date with the latest research about celiac. I don't want to go to him, but rather chat with him online or send him an e-mail with some questions I have. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  5. Hi. Recently this post was released: http://scdlifestyle.com/2013/10/12-billion-gluten-free-health-fad/ It's about how gluten-free food is bad. What do you think? Do I really need to stop eating gluten-free bread etc.?
  6. Hi. I learn in a dorm not close to my house. I have gluten-free breads and such in the freezer and not a lot other than that. I have a problem with finding what to eat for breakfast and dinner. I have about 20-30 min. for each meal, which means I don't have a lot of time to prepare something. Do you have and ideas what I can prepare with minimal ingredients (I can buy some) and minimal preparation? I also have a toaster. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the encouragement! Hope it'll be ok...
  8. Thanks for all the advice and encouragement! Hope it'll be ok...
  9. Hi again. So I was re-diagnosed. My first diagnose showed this: CELIAC SCREEN (Includes TTG and DGP): 236.0 U/ml TRANSGLUTAMINASE_IgA: 55.90 AU/ml Now I got these results: CELIAC SCREEN: 10.1 U/ml TRANSGLUTAMINASE_IgA: 5.85 AU/ml ENDOMYSIAL Ab: Pos. 1:10 I understood it's pretty good. So probably I don't have cross-contamination. My thyroid is ok. What do you think I can do to help make me feel better (acne, bladder and stomach pain)? Thanks.
  10. Thanks. I know that, I didn't mean I was checking if I still had Celiac, just to make sure I have normal results. There weren't any other results on the first panel. The problem is that, although the results are good, I don't feel so well; I have lower-stomach pains, acne, and bladder problems. Any ideas? Thanks
  11. Hi. I'm gluten-free for almost 4 months now, and I was diagnosed again. My first diagnose showed this: CELIAC SCREEN (Includes TTG and DGP): 236.0 U/ml TRANSGLUTAMINASE_IgA: 55.90 AU/ml Now I got these results: CELIAC SCREEN: 10.1 U/ml TRANSGLUTAMINASE_IgA: 5.85 AU/ml ENDOMYSIAL Ab: Pos. 1:10 I understand the first two are good now. My question is about the third one, what does it mean? Thanks. Edit: Perhaps this should be in the Post diagnosis forum...
  12. Thank you. I removed dairy for about a month and it didn't seem to be a problem. Any other suggestions?
  13. Hi. I'm quite new with Celiac, about 3.5 months gluten-free. The problem is I don't feel a lot better... 1. I have constipation. 2. I have pain in my lower stomach (abdomen?), especially after I eat. 3. I have acne. Also I wanteed to ask if before everytime I eat I need to wash the plate and cutlery with water to make sure it's not glutened. Any ideas? Hope you can help me. Thanks
