  1. sorry, i don't know how to paste and copy, but if you go to the national cancer institute website and type in ovarian cancer symptoms in the search box, you will find a list of symptoms.
  2. Well i don't know where to post this but, i just found out a month ago my sister has ovarian cancer. In doing research about it really seems to me that ovarian cancer and gluten-free symptoms seem eerily similar. I have a lot of the symptoms of ovarian cancer myself. As i am sure, a lot of us do. Anyone have any thoughts about this? I apologize if i am being intrusive. caterina
  3. The Doctors- Ugh

seems like you need a new doctor who cares about what is wrong with you. I had the same problem and cancelled my appointment and tried different doctors until found one who actually cared about me and my symptoms.
  4. i love against the grain products, wish i didn't have to go to whole foods to buy them.
  5. Seaweed Soap

thank you, i know that accidental gluten ingestion is talked about a lot here, and i just don't get why i would do that. I have been on this road for a few years, you would think this wouldn't happen anymore!
  6. I thought that i would save you all some grief because of my dumb mistake. I used grisi brand seaweed soap on my face and didn't check the ingredientd first. I broke out in hives and my face got all puffed up. I still have diarrhea, etc.. 3 days later. So, long story short, don't use this soap! Don't ask me why i didn't check the ingredients, i absolutely know better, and by the way, it says that it has wheat in it. I am trying not to fell like an idiot, but it is hard, i did this to myself. Hoping to save someone some pain.
  7. Gluten Free Diet Books

thanks, i haven't researched the paleo diet because i have been so consumed with researching the gluten intolerance stuff. It seems that i find out new information every day, it is definitely overwhelming, and it has been about two years since i have eaten a regular diet.
  8. Hi, i am going nuts trying to find some good books about gluten-free eating plans that aren't chock full of dessert, bread, and pasta recipes that try and approximate their regular gluten counterparts. I have decided to cut out that stuff as well as potatoes and rice. I just need some recipes that will give me  enough nutrients without sending my blood sugar through the roof. I think i have finally given up on recipes that try and mimic gluten, i just want to eat healthy, any help would be appreciated, thanks
  9. thanks all, i'm not usually such a stresser, but i just want to feel and look good for once, especially on my wedding day. I think i will definitely go out and buy one of those girdles, then it won't be an issue. Thanks again everyone.
  10. i have been drinking water i add the tea to 60 ounces of water each day and have been drinking that, and on top of that, i drink two 8 oz glasses of water after that, i have been trying really hard to get enough water. And yes the corn pasta with only chopped tomatoes was what i ate yesterday. Beleive me, i have been doing a lot of peeing.
  11. thanks, that is why i like it here.
  12. well, this is kind of funny, but the tea had been working out very well, then i made some very plain gluten free trader joe's brand gluten-free corn pasta and now i am back to how i looked before i started drinking the tea, the pasta just had chopped tomatoes in it. i am so mad i could cry, i don't khow what to do now. I am tearing up as i am typing this right now. I just don.t get it.
  13.    ya. i was the not thirsty one, i don't know why i am bloated, i have only eaten foods that i have cooked myself, but i have been eating potatoes lately, maybe that is it.I do eat cheese, but you guys are probably right, i am not getting enough water, i am going to try dandelion tea, thanks for the good wishes.
