  1. Celiac & Obesity

My son and i were both the same way. I do have a thyroid problem which compounded things but we are both large celiacs which made getting someone to take me seriously extremely hard. I have also lost 35 pounds on weight watchers.
  2. Problems W/skin

Seven years for me and I don't think you are ever going to be totally free. Especially if you ever eat out or anywhere other than your house. Always a calculated risk.
  3. Problems W/skin

[ Plus, my nails are so short, damaged and brittle that it scares me!! My hair also......went from curly/wavy to terrible, terrible frizz! I do use a flatiron though. Im noticing my hair is also thinning out, more than ever. What might cause this? Is it celiac disease related? Or DH???? Does anyone else have this problem??? Any feedback would be appreciated! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  4. Newbie To This Site

[ I have encouraged them all to be tested to no avail. Apparently there is no way they could have it....sheesh...I keep telling them that it is hereditary...but they just keep saying that i am the sickly one not them. I so understand this. Even with my son and I both diagnosed, and my sister with all symptoms, there is "no way she has it either" There is nothing you can do about it. I just figure that they are going to have to figure it out the hard way. Seven years later, they still haven't figured it out.
  5. Skin Care

I don't use anything with wheat it in. I use the bare minerals makeup and I don't polish my nails. There are some polishes that are gluten-free, but it is not worth the trouble to me. After 7 years, I am still learning new things.
