  1. Yes, while the ones in the USA are “questionable”, in Canada they are gluten free. If you watch the fry station they will see there is very little risk of cc, and if you are really worried, just state that you have an allergy and they are really good at changing gloves and making a fresh batch. It is my go-to for an easy meal out.
  2. Yep- McDonald’s poutine is totally gluten free and very low risk for cc issues. Their fries and hash browns are also low risk and whenever I tell them I have an allergy they are always good about changing gloves- I may not trust them to make a bun less burger- but there fries station is a-ok in my book.
  3. Mcdonalds (fries, hash browns, poutine, salad without extra toppings) Red Robin new York Fries Five Guys burger and fries costco frozen pizzas mcCain fries (double check ingredients) little northern bake house bread (Costco) These help feed the cravings. I actually found that eating at home for the first six months...
  4. Hello! I will be traveling to New Orleans in September for a conference and have begun the final details of how I will survive. The hotel catering the even appears to be good and I have spoken to the catering manager, so I should be ok there. However, I have a couple of times where I will need to bring a meal with me, offsite but I don't think I will be able...
  5. I'll just leave this here: http://gluteninbeer.blogspot.ca/?m=1 The study OP originally posted didnt actually test the beer, it's just a theory based on the beer making process. Fermentation will destroy gluten if it's done properly and for long enough. The blog I posted here tests the beer, but who knows if it's consistent between...
  6. I hope the OP is feeling better I have a couple of thoughts that haven't been mentioned yet. Have you been checked for a parasite? Especially being in Mexico.... If you are having stomach issues, and especially if you suspect SIBO, don't take pro/prebiotics. Your stomach bacteria is out of wack and growing in places it shouldn't be. Taking...
  7. I've seen lots of posts about the quaker rice cakes having gluten in them, but all of them seem to be several years old. Here in Canada they are now certified gluten free, but I'm wondering if people are still having issues with them, as I believe that I was glutenated by them (very slowly mind you). The only real change in my diet lately has been the addition...
