Hi Anyone! I have been diagnosed a Celiac for 12 months now. My anaemia is almost under control and I can now do more exercise. I have found a whole new life in long distance running and enter many races. My problem is that in all the Sports nutrition books they say slow release energy is found in whole grain, such as wheat etc. Apart from brown rice, I can't think of any other substitute for slow release energy foods to eat to sustain me through a race! Any ideas?
