  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. This never happened to me before...today! It was either the Bumble Bar (which I believe to be the case), or some lip stuff I put on at the co-op. The reason I guess Bumble Bar is it didn't happen until I ate it. I used to eat them all the time, but I don't eat sugar anymore, and that has lots of honey and other stuff....and peanuts, which I also don't...
  3. mercola.com sells some, though it's not the kind I was using. I got mine at the food co-op/healthfood store. It's about $9/bottle, but has all the trace minerals in it. I'm going to go see if I kept the empty bottle...nope. My nutiritonist suggested "Real Salt" by someone or another.. Here are some websites about Himalayan salt: http://www.himalayancrystalsalt...
  4. Yeah, Himalayan pink salt is the same. You'll go broke eating it, but it's yummy and nutritious.
  5. I just bought this stuff from my co-op called "Seasoning" made by Lydia's Organics in California. It's weird, but it tastes good. It contains: dehydrated carrots, celery, parsley, sprouted seeds (sunflower, almond, flax) herbs, and himalayan crystal salt. She says it's all organic and all gluten, sugar, and oil free. She also makes cereal and crackers...
  6. I think I read that Celiac contributes to all other autoimmune diseases - if in no other way than in making the body suceptible. ITP is not genetic - they don't know what causes it. My doc thought maybe vaccinations or being on antibiotics a lot as a kid (I had lots of bladder infections). The reason prednison works is because it shuts down your immune...
  7. I was diagnosed in early twenties. They did a bone marrow biopsy to rule out leukemia, and they ruled it out. The treatment for ITP which you may know is Prednisone for life or removal of spleen. I started on 100 mg of prednisone a day and went down so that by the end of the month, was on about 5mg per day. It was so awful - the treatment practically...
  8. Anyone else with other autoimmune diseases? I have ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura), though I'm currently untreated and just fine. It is when the spleen decides to kill off all your platelets until you bleed to death. Great! Now I'm thinking having Celiac all my life might've contributed to getting ITP.
