  1. hey everybody, so the other day I was reading a magazine, and you know how they always have the newest horrible illness or some horrific accident or in most girl magazines anyways the newest diet, well I was thinking wouldn't it be great if they ran an article on celiac disease - you know spread the word a little . So what do you guys think about a little letter writing? I was thinking everyone could consider sending in a letter/email to their favorite magazine (Seventeen, People, Cosmo etc..) about how they should consider writing an article on celiac disease. Anyways tell me what you guys think about this idea??
  2. here is my fav. gluten story.... I was at my friends house and there were about 5 of us, so my friend heated up some chicken nuggets (which of course i cant eat), so i tell her that i'll just have an apple or something cause there's wheat in the chicken nuggets. She looks at me completely seriously and says, "no there isnt." So we look at the ingredients and yes there is wheat in it. So my friend says, "Oh well you can just peel off the breaded coating, right?" It took me awhile to explain to her why i couldnt eat the chicken nuggets even if i did peel off the coating.

  6. Hi, Everyone has really good ideas for lunches I think I'm going to try out a couple. Anyway for lunch I usually bring a brown rice tortilla wrap by Foods For Life, and you can put just about anything in the wraps and it usually stay together pretty well. I also bring cut up veggies and fruits, I also pack some pecans and almonds. I have found that these are really easy to make in the morning and look normal. Good Luck with everything

  9. Hi. I have only been gluten free for about 2 months but my mom has been gluten free for a couple of years, and i recently decided to go gluten free with her after being diagnosed with gluten sensitivity. There's a lot of rly good gluten free food out there, there's Amy's pizza ( though if your off diary you can't have this), Whole Foods Sandwhich bread, and the Gluten Free Pantry mixes, i even found a gluten, dairy, yeast free Falafel mix by Orgran (which i had today and is rly good). Good luck with the gluten free diet, and dont worry it gets easier.
