Hi Kristalee Jane, today is my first day as a member of this forum and it seems you and I are in a similar situation. I had bloodwork done last week and scored 79 on the Iga test I also had a positive ANA test. My appointment with the Gi doc isn't until the 23rd. I too feel like I am in a waiting game. I have been having bad joint pain, I worry about Rheumatoid arthritis or who knows what. I

I also have gone through several eating disorders and my weight continues to fluctuate-- I have binge eaten a lot and have also gone through times of restrictive eating. I now have a lot of gi issues-- burping, gas, even gastroparesis. How does your GI doc think that the eating disorders are related to gluten sensitivity?? No official diagnosis. Have appt with GI doc on 3/20.. until then doing elimination diet..

Hi. Sorry to hear that you are still struggling. I was finally diagnosed last Nov., and am also still very ill. Got so sick I couldn't work for a while. I read everything that I can get my hands on, and am still learning. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

Hi, hope you don't mind a note. If you are in Richmond, you may want to look up the UVA. Dr. Sheila Crowe is a teaching Gastroenterologist, and supposedly the "expert" for the area. I traveled down to see her....and I admit that I got a LOT more from the dietician I saw there....Sherrei Walker. Something to consider....

No I am not sure what tests I had. I am seeing my GP on Monday morning for by B12 shot (another link to celiac disease) & I am gong to ask for a copy of the reports & ask for another testing. I have been eating gluten again for 9 days. :( It would e interesting to see if my liver enzyemes are elevated again after eating gluten. Thanks everyone for your support.
