How long did it take until you felt better after diagnosis

It depends if you mean totally better, or a noticeable improvement.  Generally you will notice some improvement within two or three weeks (some sooner), but it is recommended that you wait for three months before deciding that the gluten free diet alone isn't working.  Often you will have to eliminate some other foods for a while, sometimes permanently.  As for totally healed, it varies with each individual, from months to years.

I noticed stomach pain decreasing within days but then I felt worse from a withdrawal. Most of my symptoms improved between two weeks and two months. Some symptoms took six months, and I'm still waiting to see if other symptoms will improve on a gluten-free diet or not.

thanks i know it will take time for me to heal and being on this gluten free diet.
