I just changed my son's diaper, it smells awful and almost knocked me over when I opened his bedroom door this morning. The think that is so strange is that it's covered in mucus and I mean copious amounts. I've never seen anything like it. He was diagnosed with Celiac 6 months ago and has been gluten-free ever since. Any idea what could have caused it? Or is this normal? The only place we went yesterday was church and the nursery is gluten free but I guess if he was out of my sight it's possible for him to have been exposed to gulten. I have 3 kids and changed thousands of diapers and never seen that much mucus in a child's stool.
