Im thinkng specifically things like shampoo, lotions, make up, hair spray...etc. I can understand avoiding these things if you have DH but do you need to avoid them even w/o DH? I have never had any skin problems, and now Im wondering if I should be avoiding these outter things. I can understand lip stick b/c invariably you do ingest some of that, but what about other things?

I err on the side of caution and avoid gluten in cosmetic and hygiene products as well. I figure that since gluten-free varieties are fairly readily available, why take a chance? I don't have DH either, but one of my gluten-accident symptoms is itchy skin, so I am taking precautions to ensure that it never turns into DH!
