My first email from Citadelle said that their gin & vodka were not gluten-free...now I receive another that says the distillation process removes gluten. HELP....(I want my martini)

1. I came across info on a separate newsgroup that while gluten-free processing can at best leave no trace of gluten traceable by scientific testing, the human body has still been known to detect it. Stands to reason really, our body being the best tool given to humanity.
2. Many of us are sensitive to the crop, the whole of the wheat, barley or whatever. There will be traces of the original crop left in the drink, otherwise it doesn't have the character that makes it the drink it is.
3. Alcohol per se, because of its empty calories, is inadvisable for some people with compromised digestive systems, CNS, etc. This will vary infinitely between one person and the next however.
