Anyone Know Much About Monocytes?

My mono abs was one of the blood tests that showed up elevated for me. It has high next to it and it's bolded. I'm seeing my family doctor tomorrow about this but I was wondering...do I have this correct? Some write ups online seem to say this is a monocyte test and monocytes are typically involved in really bad infections? Bacterial..parasitic..or cancer etc? I've been sick for months now and have just finally had a blood test to check on myself so needless to say..can't wait to talk to the doctor tomorrow.

I am not sure about that test, but you seem worried about bacterial issues. What really worked for me was taking probiotics and getting on a refined food free diet for a month. Especially no can sugar and low fruits/other sugar.
