Biopsy Done. Waiting On Results.

I had my endoscopy and a colonoscopy done Thursday. I'm still not entirely sure what all he did, but I do know I had some pretty big polyps that they are testing and a hiatal hernia. I'm about 80% sure he did the Celiac biopsy. I should have asked ahead of time but there's been so much going on. And honestly, I don't need a diagnosis to know I need to go gluten free. I know my primary will do the Celiac panel if I need to ask him.

 

Other than the polyps there was no other issues found that could cause bloody stool. On one had that's good, but on the other it's scary because I have all the symptoms of colon cancer at this point. But I'm trying not to freak out about it too much right now. I'll know more Wednesday.

My neighbor has polyps it sent her to the HOSP. she has to be on a special diet to keep her from bleeding. Look into it sweetie and see if your supposed to be on a special diet for that. And you do know you have got to be eating Gluten for the blood test to be positive...

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
