What? This is a link to a closed Fb page. Looks like maybe for a pseudo health practitioner? I can't tell.

Currently, there is no " cure" for Celiac disease. Eating gluten free is the treatment, but it is not a cure. Eating gluten will make it come back.

Edit- I doubt those people on that page expect 100's of people to see their pictures and real names on this forum!

I have no involvement with the site just posted it so everyone can research it more. People are curing all sorts of stuff like autism, malaria and chrons with chlorine dioxide.

Linking to a closed FBI group isn't really research. Do you have some legitimate research to share? So we could have some idea of what you are talking about? I'm guessing the C/D you are referring to is not Celiac Disease?

A Facebook site isn't real research. I'm still not sure what any if this has to do with celiac Disease?

A book by a minister and some other company's link is not research. Also, they are discussing autism. Please provide some legitimate, medical research links to explain how this will " cure" Celiac. I am very confused why you would post this?

Okay.  The first link is to buy a book and the second link is about autism.  There is nothing here about celiac or gluten Intolerance.   Please be more careful in the future to provide proven research about celiac or gluten Intolerance and to stay on topic with the theme of this site.  There is no cure.

FDA NEWS RELEASE

For Immediate Release: July 30, 2010
Media Inquiries: Elaine Gansz Bobo, 301-796-7567, Open Original Shared Link
Consumer Inquiries: 888-INFO-FDA

FDA Warns Consumers of Serious Harm from Drinking Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS)
Product contains industrial strength bleach

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to take Miracle Mineral Solution, an oral liquid also known as “Miracle Mineral Supplement” or “MMS.”  The product, when used as directed, produces an industrial bleach that can cause serious harm to health.

The FDA has received several reports of health injuries from consumers using this product, including severe nausea, vomiting, and life-threatening low blood pressure from dehydration.

Consumers who have MMS should stop using it immediately and throw it away.

MMS is distributed on Internet sites and online auctions by multiple independent distributors. Although the products share the MMS name, the look of the labeling may vary.

The product instructs consumers to mix the 28 percent sodium chlorite solution with an acid such as citrus juice. This mixture produces chlorine dioxide, a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial water treatment. High oral doses of this bleach, such as those recommended in the labeling, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration.

MMS claims to treat multiple unrelated diseases, including HIV, hepatitis, the H1N1 flu virus, common colds, acne, cancer, and other conditions. The FDA is not aware of any research that MMS is effective in treating any of these conditions. MMS also poses a significant health risk to consumers who may choose to use this product for self-treatment instead of seeking FDA-approved treatments for these conditions.

The FDA continues to investigate and may pursue civil or criminal enforcement actions as appropriate to protect the public from this potentially dangerous product.

The FDA advises consumers who have experienced any negative side effects from MMS to consult a health care professional as soon as possible and to discard the product. Consumers and health care professionals should report adverse events to the FDA’s MedWatch program at 800-FDA-1088 or online atOpen Original Shared Link.

No not my church. I don't belong to any church. I joined your celiac forum early last year when I thought I had celiac disease. You can look through my old posts if you wish. Oh and the FDA puts that notice out because they are in cahoots with big pharma.

Anyway I found out later that I actually had Lyme Disease which was mimicking the celiac. Apparently it mimics a lot of diseases. After countless treatments and abx that made it and my leaky gut worse I starting learning about MMS and joined the FB forum. So I have been taking it for the past 8 months. It has gotten rid of my gluten/food allergies, leaky gut, candida, heavy metals poisoning and most of my Lyme and I am almost completely free of symptoms. I remember writing desperate posts on this site last year to get help for my leaky gut and I always made a mental note that if I got better I would come back and let people know what was causing my issues. The people on this site would always say the "cured" ones have no reason to post anymore so they just go away, so I wanted to post how I got out of my illness. I didn't realize I was going to get attacked for it, MEOW!!

I wish all of you good luck in your journey.

I am glad you found what was wrong with you - Lyme. It does seem to sometimes look like Celiac. I wish you had said that right up front.

I hope you have no issues from that chemical. Do you want/ need to take it for your whole life? Just curious.

I'm sorry I guess I could have said it different. I was just trying to help others. I remember how desperate for help I was. Such a hopeless feeling.

Anyway, I take such a low dose of MMS that it's harmless. In fact the FDA allows it to be sprayed on fruits and vegetables in much higher doses and the FDA uses it as a drinking water purifier.

I remember reading a book on it and in the book it mentioned that celiac was one of the ailments so I thought I would let ya'll know about it. At least you can research it more than just the government calling it bleach, which it isn't. Bleach is sodium hypochlorite.

There is also another book about it by an ND that is curing autism with it, so I don't think it should be something people push aside as a fad. It should be looked into more. Maybe there is something to it.

There is no "Cure" for Celiac , You control Celiac by changing your diet. So glad you got better tho. Good luck!

I'm also a nurse, but one who has worked in chronic care, and to some extent, it is more satisfying to see patients through to a diagnosis (as opposed to working in the ED), but an accurate diagnosis does not occur not as often as it should! Your posting presents a lot of information. But a couple of things I can respond to. One, celiac disease is diagnosed by endoscopy and biopsy of the duodenum. So, pathology will need to weigh in. It's not diagnosed on gastroscopy. (At least, not as far as I know). Two, did you get blood tests for celiac disease? You will need to be eating gluten in order for those to be accurate. Three, where was the CT angiogram (of what)? I could go on and on, but thought I'd start there.
    • trents
Was a biopsy done when you had your gastroscopy? Concerning your anemia, are you B12 deficient? It's nearly impossible to get sufficient B12 if you are a vegetarian unless you take supplements.
    • Suzi374
And I’m anaemic, however I’m also female and vegetarian. I had an iron trans a couple of years ago however it’s starting to dwindle and taking supplements doesn’t seem to work. I can’t seem to absorb it.

Hi, I attended a neurologist appt last Tuesday, which I nearly cancelled, due to ongoing numbness and tingling in toes to mid foot. One of the first things he asked was ‘are you celiac’. I’m not. He thought all reflexes were ok but at the last minute decided on nerve conduction tests which were low normal. He was a little confused as he felt they should be better and tried a new set of probs, all the time, giving me multiple shocks which were not enjoyable lol. Anyway, he’s now ordered tests for myeloma, and all the vitaminy things that so many of you mention on here, also tests looking for autoimmune responses. I already have Hashimotos. Interestingly, to me, but maybe someone out there can relate or knows more than i do, although I was a nurse, but ED not ‘weird symptoms’  nurse. Anyway back to the interesting thing, I took duramine in 2013 to lose weight which caused a massive panic attack when I stopped taking it and half my hair fell out. I only took it for a week but it was horrible and I regret it. It triggered ongoing panic attacks which are horrendous. So I feel like I’m a bit crazy. Then in 2020 I had this sudden onset of horrible pain when trying to eat a cinnamon roll. It continued and I lost around 20 kgs. I had two gastroscopes and a colonoscopy and they were all normal. I scored a barium swallow and CT angiogram. All normal. The pain subsided a little but I was left with reflux and an awful feeling that I couldn’t get air when I ate some foods. This was not anxiety.  The anxiety was separate and I still maintain this. This was something to do with eating. It was like the air was thick but I wasn’t short of breath. I just had the sensation I was, then it triggered anxiety. Anyway, I had other weird things- couldn’t bend knees to shave legs in shower lol. Knees felt stiff and swollen but they weren’t. Knee WOUld swell up randomly but mri showed minimal issues. A bit of a meniscus degeneration but insignificant. Then the buzzing sensations in my head, the feeling like someone was stabbing me with something sharp. So now, I pre empted his tests, although I don’t think I’m celiac because it should have come up on gastroscopy, I’ve gone off gluten. Since Tuesday last week so 9 days. Since then I don’t appear to be as constipated, I realised I got through today without a nap and I’m not tired, maybe it’s just today and not related but I get very tired normally and sleep straight after work often, I can bend my knees and shave my legs lol, the buzzing vibrating has gone from my head, I had to call and ambulance as my heart decided we were off on a run, but we weren’t running and I’ve been a bit twitchy at bed time when trying to sleep, reflux is improving, I did get the weird suffocating feeling a bit when eating today but not as bad normall. Tingling and numbness still present and I felt like it moved up my legs a bit today but I’m a bit jittery. So I don’t know if it’s celiac disease or a gluten intolerance but I think, and it may be wishful thinking because my symptoms do make life a bit challenging, but maybe I’m feeling better. I don’t feel as cloudy. My thinking feels crisper. Like there’s no buzzing and I’m not fighting to break through the cloudiness now. I hope so much that this may help me feel a bit better moving forward. It would be a miracle as I really have struggled to work and parent and keep the house clean and I’m always anxious and exhausted.  If you get this far, please tell me if you you can relate to any of the above. Oh and tonsils out 5 years ago but before that antibiotics multiple times a year, sometimes intramuscular because they were so bad.  Op was meant to take 30 mins, it took 1.5 hours due to size of them.
    • Peace lily
Im still not gaining weight I’m on a gluten free diet . And still having issues with constapation started priobiocs figured it would help been over two weeks . I guess it’s going to be a long road for me .
