Mailbox Woes

I feel it is difficult both emotionally and physically to clean out my mailbox.  I noticed that I can't send a message to GFinDC.  I am guessing the box is full.  Can we do anything to expand the size of mailboxes, make it easier to delete the mail we don't want, and/or explain to me how you organize your mail?

Members are allowed 75 conversations.

To delete some, go to the Show all display. There are check boxes to the right of each conversation. Check the ones you want to delete, then make sure the "Delete" options is selected at the bottom of the page. Then click the blue Go button.

If you do not have 75 conversations, it may be that the member you are trying to send to has no room.

Another easy & stress free way to do this : read the conversation/ pm. Then use the " delete" at the top right of the first pm. It then asks "Are you sure you wish to permanently delete this conversation?" And you pick OK.

Edited to get the exact wording.

Diana, is the emotional aspect of it because you want to save certain conversation?  If it is the case, just copy the conversation and paste them to a word processing program.

Good Luck

Well ok.  Learn something every day they say.  Or at my age, give the faint appearance of learning something new.  So it seems I exceeded the max 75 conversation by a couple already.  Not sure how long ago that was, since there was never a message (ha ha!) about it.  But now I do see there is a lovely quota bar all filled up to 100% in my message folder on the left hand side.  Probably been there for  awhile, I suspect.  Anyway, I agree with Diana, I  am pretty sure!

Well, with helpful advice from mods etc I have cleaned out some messages and no longer have a slightly over 100% full message quota.  If only Diana had thot to send me a PM about my message store being full...  :D

signed,

Proudly only 53% full...  That's barely over half full! ....:)

Sounds like you are in the UK. With blood numbers that high, I thought docs in UK would give an official diagnosis without the biopsy. You should ask about that, so you can get support faster.  I'd try to find and print out anything that supports that in your country, get another appointment and take all of it with you. Even in the US now, some docs are doing this, my 19 year old step granddaughter got an official diagnosis here in US with just blood results a few months ago.

Is soy sauce in Korea also made from wheat like it usually is in US? I'd be concerned that even if asking about gluten, they would not be aware of or think of some like that.

That's a good idea. It can at least establish the potential for developing celiac disease and can help people decided between a celiac diagnosis and NCGS (Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity). And it doesn't require a gluten challenge and can be had without a doctor's prescription.

I have my endoscopy on Thursday, has anyone had the procedure done with a cough? I don't have a continuous cough, but every now and then throughout the day I have sort of coughing episodes. They are a lot better than they were but I called endoscopy and they said to speak to my gp and my gp got back to me and said I need to ask endoscopy if its ok if I have it done still.  Help!

Thank you so much, everyone. For the moment my doctor just has me taking iron but hopefully we can reconnect soon. I'm going to look into genetic testing, too. Great advice all around and I appreciate it--and you can bet I'm going off the PPIs!
