There is a study of the relationship between celiac disease and proctitis. My question is how long before you see noticable improvements with Proctitis once you have gone Gluten Free? Anyone here been through that? It is just kind of frustrating sometimes.

Generally, anything that is being aggravated by untreated Celiac disease is going to heal up after the gut does, which is a slow improvement after going gluten-free.  It will likely take a good bit of time, and there is a possibility of it not being related to the Celiac.  Just keep the lines of communication open with your GI doctor and hope for the best.
