I just to thank this person and tell everyone how special this person is. I am new to all of this and I have struggled so bad. This person sent me and email with 70 or so pages of listings of Gluten Free or not so Free products. It has helped so much. I found I had been using Avon glazwear and I put it on many times a day, only to lick it off. The make up and lotion I use is wrong. Many other things. No wonder I am still sick. Thankyou for caring. It is so great that you care for others enough that you will share what you have learned so we can learn a little sooner. I am 48 and feel like a little child. This is what the Lord ment I think when he said to love one another. Thankyou, maybe I can begin a real start to feeling better now..

BK- as a joke, my husband and I were googling each other tonight (Unbeknownst to me I raise heifers in Canada, I'm a doctor in Massachusetts and belong to the EPA- wow! sure do get around!) but about 4 pages in I found your post. I know you are struggling again right now and I almost cried when I read your words of thanks. As jenvan pointed out, you are not an idiot and you are so welcome for the list. My name is Beverly Brennan-Overberg and I think my email address is a little confusing. Sorry about that and I hope you're doing better- hang in there sweetie! Beverly (BERNESES)

@Spacepanther, I found these articles about the connection between Celiac and joint pain. Musculoskeletal Complications of Celiac Disease: A Case-Based Review https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10201087/ And   Intestinal microbiome composition and its relation to joint pain and inflammation https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6814863/ And The gut microbiome-joint connection: implications in osteoarthritis https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6903327/ Sounds like it's time to change the diet to change the microbiome.

@Shireen32,  Take some deep breaths.  Your labs are fine!  Your tTg IgA is so low!  Well done!  Your endomysial IgA is fine.  There's not a level on the endomysial test.  It's just "yes or no" for if you have celiac disease.   No, it's too early to call it refractory. What are you eating?  Please tell us more than meat and veg. Do you consume dairy? Do you consume processed gluten free foods?   Are you taking any prescription medications, herbal supplements, vitamins and minerals?

thank you knitty kitty I don't have a vitamin deficiency and I supplement omegas.  Are there other more mild symptoms that co-occur with your joint pain as well @Moodiefoodie? I am suspicious my own joint pain could be related to another autoimmune issue. I am wondering if it is Crohn's or something similar because I've continued to experience some issues despite having normal celiac antibody levels. What have you considered?

Yes, it could be. Anti histamines help with the symptoms but I don't really like to take them long term.
