I got a list of mainstream products that are gluten-free, and thought I would share one item that is no longer gluten-free (found out the hard way-should have read the darn label!

). They must have changed their ingredients, as I know they just added wheat to another cereal that used to be safe. It is Malt-o-Meal Corn Bursts.
Does this happen a lot? I was never aware of companies changing ingredients like this, since I never had to read labels before, but it's always a good reminder to double check labels and not assume that if an item was on a "safe list" that it is still safe.
I lucked out, only got a small reaction, barely noticed a difference.

But I've only been doing the gluten-free diet for a few weeks now, so my sensitivity will probably increase over time.
