In Tucson? Gourmet Girls go Gluten Free. 100% gluten free! Worth a drive from Phoenix to pick up their bakery bread and freeze it! Tucson Tamales has a wide selection of gluten-free items too.

No I live in Glendale, AZ.  Some places out  here have little on menu, but not much. All this time I thought I could eat fries in the restaurants and realize there contaminated from other foods they fry. By any chance do you know address of Gourmet Girls Restaurant

Again, worth the drive. Have lunch and load up on baked goods to freeze. It is on Oricle just north of River on the north side of town.

Oh, don't forget In n Out! Ask for gluten allergy. Their fries are safe! They'll cook your burger on the back grille to prevent cross contamination and wrap it in lettuce.

I don't know AZ geography well enough to know if any Open Original Shared Link are close, but I have eaten there and there is a good selection of gluten-free foods. Most of the menu is gluten-free.

Gluten Free Creations is in the Scottsdale area, but check them out.  They also have a phoenix location.  I mail order stuff from them and they have a store/cafe there.  Open Original Shared Link    

 

I live in Texas so I only order from them in the winter months... don't want my baked goods baked again in the heat.

You have a lot of choices as far as the chain restaurants go. There is Red Robin, OutBack, Carrabba's, the Handlebar Pub & Grill, barro's Pizza, BJ's Brewhouse, P.F. Changs.

My dad lives in Apach Junction and we eat out when there.

Not sure if it's near you, but I had an absolutely delicious burger (no bun - they may have had a gluten-free one, but usually I just have plain) at the Wigwam hotel (not the one with the actual wigwams, but the one with the cool water slide).  Best meal in a long time.

      Yes, that's probably best. (Honestly, that is an extraordinarily high number, I've never seen anything like that. I repeated my blood tests (not taken while pregnant BTW); before giving up cake, pizza, and beer, I wanted to know for sure! You don't wanna mess around with anything while pregnant.       Here are the ingredients listed for the regular sour cream and cheddar Ruffles: Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Corn, Soybean, and/or Sunflower Oil), Maltodextrin (Made from Corn), Salt, Whey, Cheddar Cheese (Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Onion Powder, Monosodium Glutamate, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Buttermilk, Sour Cream (Cultured Cream, Skim Milk), Lactose, Butter (Cream, Salt), Sodium Caseinate, Yeast Extract, Citric Acid, Skim Milk, Blue Cheese (Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Lactic Acid, Garlic Powder, Artificial Color (Yellow 6, Yellow 5), Whey Protein Isolate, and Milk Protein Concentrate. CONTAINS MILK INGREDIENTS. What do you suppose is the hidden source of gluten in the regular Ruffles that is not found in the baked ones? Could you be mistaken in attributing your reaction to the Ruffles? Could it have been from gluten in something else you ate around the same time or even a non-gluten tummy event?

      @plumbago on my blood tests I got 4500 and normal should be between 25-30 but they wanted me to continue eating gluten until a endoscopy was done and also biopsies taken. I’ve took it upon myself to cut gluten out today based on the research I’ve done about it during pregnancy

      If you tested positive for celiac on labwork, I would definitely give up gluten.

      I have Celiac and had a bad reaction to the regular cheddar and sour cream Ruffles.  The baked ones in this flavor are apparently marked gluten-free, but watch out for the regular ones.  I wish I would have seen a post like mine, instead of one that was specifically referring to the baked chips from my google search, before I pulled the trigger.  Hopefully some day they'll require gluten disclosure on the ingredients, not just "wheat."
