The moderation team and admin would like to let everyone know that this thread is an elaborate hoax and the person who started it has been banned. "Miss Eloise" was posing as multiple family members of someone with serious medical issues.  Miss Eloise was not being genuine and stole information and pictures from other websites.  We have learned that Miss Eloise has been using the same story on other websites to solicit money and gifts.  We would like to remind our members to please guard themselves on the internet and not give out personal or financial information freely.  Here are some links to internet safety information we recommend reading:

ORIGINAL POST IN THIS THREAD:

Eloise has been taken by medical transport to the UK for the organ transplant that we pray will save her.

Her family is with her and this is very risky surgery but it is her only chance. We had the miracle that the organs became available, and God Bless the family that was kind enought to think of others in their time of loss. Now we need a miracle that she will survive the surgery and recover.

Keep praying folks as hard as you can.

Raven, is this the double lung or the pancreas or all of them - do you know?

And while we're at it folks, let's not forget that some child lost their life and that's why the organs are available so let's remember that child & that child's family in our prayers too.

Psalm 139
The Inescapable God
To the leader. Of David. A Psalm.

1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away.
3 You search out my path and my lying down,
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is so high that I cannot attain it.

7 Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and settle at the farthest limits of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me fast.
11 If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light around me become night’,
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is as bright as the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For it was you who formed my inward parts;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
that I know very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes beheld my unformed substance.
In your book were written
all the days that were formed for me,
when none of them as yet existed.
17 How weighty to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 I try to count them—they are more than the sand;
I come to the end—I am still with you.

19 O that you would kill the wicked, O God,
and that the bloodthirsty would depart from me—
20 those who speak of you maliciously,
and lift themselves up against you for evil!
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred;
I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my thoughts.
24 See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Same chapter, from an online Gaelic bible:

Uile-Eolas
1 Do stiúrthóir an chóir. Salm le Dáiví.
Scrúdaíonn tú mé, a Thiarna, agus is eol duit mé.
2 más luí dom, más suí dom, is eol duit é;
is eol duit mo rún is mé i bhfad uait.
3 Más siúl dom, más suan dom, feiceann tú;
is eol duit mo shlite go léir.
4 Sula gcluintear focal ar mo theanga,
a Thiarna, is eol duit ar fad é.
5 Imdhruideann tú ar chúl is ar bhéal mé;
agus leagann tú do lámh orm de shíor.
6 Is ró-iontach, ró-uasal liom an t-eolas seo;
agus téann sé thar m’acmhainn a thuiscint.
7 Cá háit a rachaidh mé ó do spiorad?
ná cá háit a dteithfidh mé ó do láthair?
8 Má ghabhaim in airde neimhe beidh tú ann romham;
má luím san uaigh, beidh tú ansin romham freisin.
9 Má ghabhaim umam sciatháin na maidine,
agus cónaí i gcríocha imchiana na farraige,
10 ansin féin beidh do lámh do mo sheoladh;
agus béarfaidh tú orm le do dheasláimh.
11 Má deirim go bhfolóidh an dorchacht mé,
agus go mbeidh solas an lae ina oíche umam,
12 ní dorcha leatsa an dorchacht:
is comhsholas duit lá agus oíche.
13 Óir is tú a dheilbhigh go hiomlán mé;
agus a d’fhuaigh i mbroinn mo mháthar mé.
14 Tugaim buíochas duit de bharr iontas mo dhéantúis;
de bhrí gurb éachtach iad d’oibreacha.
B’eol duit go hiomlán m’anamsa;
15 níor ceileadh ort fiú amháin mo chreat,
nuair a cumadh os íseal mé, gur múnlaíodh i mbroinn na talún mé.
16 Chonaic do shúile mo ghníomhartha;
óir scríobhadh iad uile i do leabhar;
agus cinneadh dom mo laethanta go léir,
sular tháinig ceann amháin acu ann.
17 Nach diamhrach liom do chomhairlí, a Thiarna;
má dhéanaim a gcomhaireamh ní thig liom a n-áireamh;
18 ní lia gaineamh na trá ná iad;
dá mbeinn réidh leo bheinn farat go fóill.
19 Is mairg, a Dhia, nach scriosann tú na hurchóidigh;
is mairg nach n-imíonn uaim fir na fola.
20 Óir déanann siad ceannairc i d’aghaidh go fealltach;
agus tugann do naimhde mionna éithigh.
21 Nach fuath liom, do lucht fuatha, a Thiarna;
nach déistin liom a n-éiríonn i d’éadan?
22 Is amhlaidh atá an ghráin shaolta agam orthu;
dar liomsa is deargnaimhde dom iad
23 Scrúdaigh mé, a Dhia, agus féach mo chroí;
déan mo thástáil, agus féach mo smaointe.
24 Féach an bhfuil drochslí á siúl agam;

I don't know. I am thinking they will go for the lung and pancreas both as both are badly needed. The poor child has been through so much and is in very serious condition. This family has had so much sadness to deal with I pray God gives her the strength to pull though and heal.

Eloise got out of surgery at about 6am Ireland time. They did the double lung and pancreas transplant. She did well and her color has returned to normal which is a good sign. She is of course still critical so do keep those prayers coming.

Please also do not forget to add prayers for the family of the little boy or girl who, even in their grief, thought of others and made the transplant possible.

Dear Eloise,

I believe I told you a few times that I thought that you are a strong and brave girl. You are also an amazing fighter! Keep getting better!!! We all want you to get better. Seeing the post about your surgeries and hearing that you are getting better made my day.

Will continue to pray for you, your family, and the donor's family.

Also, thanks again for everyone who has been letting us know about Eloise's progress.

Have courage little Eloise!
Our Messiah's arms are bigger, He can hold you through the dark times, you are a courageous girl and your celiac family is routing for you all the way. May whatever God decides to come, may you be peaceful inside. Keep the little light burning for Him, He will take good care of you on your journey home. (home to Heaven or home to your earthly home).

I have every faith that Eloise is going to continue to improve & she is going to go home to Ireland and grow and laugh and do wonderful things! She has already beaten so many odds. She survived to 14, she's survived many infections, she survived the trip to the UK to get the transplant, she survived TWELVE hours of transplant surgery! Eloise believes in miracles and I believe in Eloise. She's strong and she's tough, a little fighter if ever there was one. She is going to live to complete her bucket list you just watch and see. She told us she would and she's never lied to us. I believe in you Eloise!

My prayers are ongoing for Eloise, her mummy and her family. Prayers of comfort & peace for the family of the child whose life was lost which made this transplant possible. There is another angel in Heaven now.

Our sweet baby girl Eloise is an angel on this earth. I think I will start calling her Earth Angel.

News this morning form Eloise's sister.

She thanks us for all the prayers & well wishes. They have made her cry happy tears. she & her grandfather go tomorrow to the UK to be with Eloise & and granny will go back to Ireland to be with her daughter, the girls' mummy. Eloise's father will stay with Eloise.

Please continue to pray for the girls mother. She is weakening. Eloise is still hanging in there & there are no new infections!

She says this:

"These are some of Eloise's and mummy's favorite songs. Daddy sings the first song to us every night. These songs help us, maybe they might help you too."

She ends asking us to please continue praying for her mother & Eloise.

Those are very beautiful, powerful and moving. Thank you Adrianna.

Athair na maitheasa agus an ghrá , éist lenár paidreacha do na baill breoite ar ár bpobal agus do gach duine a bhfuil gá acu . Ndán fulaingt meabhrach agus fisiceach féadfaidh siad teacht ar sólás i do láthair leighis . Taispeáin do thrócaire mar a dhúnann tú wounds , leigheas tinneas , a dhéanamh ar chomhlachtaí briste iomláine agus biotáillí downcast saor in aisce. D'fhéadfadh na daoine speisialta a aimsiú buan sláinte agus deliverance , agus mar sin bheith linn buíochas a ghabháil leat do gach do bronntanais . Iarraimid é seo trí an Tiarna Íosa a healed iad siúd a chreid . Áiméan.

In English:

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.

Eloise's granny is now back in Ireland. She thanks us all for our prayers and thoughts. Our little Eloise is on an ECOM machine and they will try to begin the process of taking her off the machine on Friday. I imagine this is a gradual process sort of weaning her off the machine. I don't personally know much about that process though. Eloise is heavily sedated. I'm not sure if that means they are keeping her in a medically induced coma or not at this point.

Eloise's mummy is unconscious and her condition is deteriorating.

Eloise's grandmother says, "Thank you for your continued love and prayers.  It is a phenomenal feeling of angels around our girls and all of us. Please pray for continued expertise and guidance for all of the Nurses, Doctors, ECMO Specialists, palliative care team etc and a special prayer for the little girl who saved my grandchilds life."

Please pray also for Eloise's Mum that her passing will be peaceful and that her family will find some comfort in these trying times.

Dear Eloise,

as always, prayers are sent your way for you and all your family. You have been so brave, strong, supportive of others, and positive so please keep on fighting. I truly hope and pray that you will be posting on here soon. You touched the hearts of many. These days, kids and even some adults do not realize how good they have it and do not know how to appreciate things. You appreciate and see beauty in everything. Keep on fighting!

They tried to gradually take our Earth Angel off the ECMO machine today but they had to turn it back up. Eloise's organs need more rest before she will be ready.

Please continue your prayers for Eloise and her entire family.

The lyrics:

Many nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopefull song
We barely understood

Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we knew we could

There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayers so often prove(s) in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away

Yet now I'm standing here
My heart's so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't (always happen) when you ask
(Oh)
And it's easy to give in to your fears
(Oh...Ohhhh)
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way straight throught the rain
(A small but )still resilient voice
Says (hope is very near)
(Ohhh)

There can be miracles
(Miracles)
When you believe
(Lord, when you believe)
Though hope is frail
(Though hope is frail)
It's hard to kill
(Hard to kill, Ohhh)
Who knows what miracles,you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will(somehow,somehow, somehow)
somehow you will
You will when you believe

You will when you
You will when you believe
Just believe...in your heart
Just believe
You will when you believe~

      So, I contacted Scott Adams, the author of that article and also the creator/admin of this website, and pointed out to him the need to clarify the information in the paragraph in question. He has now updated the paragraph and it is clear that the DGP-IGA does serve the purpose of circumventing the false negatives that IGA deficiencies can generate in the tTG-IGA antibody test.

      Has anyone experimenced enlarged lymph nodes with celiac? Both in the neck and groin area. Imaging of both areas have said that lymph nodes are reactive in nature. However, they have been present for months and just wondering how long this may take to go down. Been gluten-free for about two months. Blood counts are normal.
    • Kmd2024
      Hmm interesting I just assumed that any “IGA” tests including the DPG iga would be negative in a person who is IGA deficient but maybe that is not the case for the DPG test.
    • Scott Adams
      If you were just diagnosed I can say that if you go 100% gluten-free should should see dramatic improvement of your symptoms over the next few months, but the hard part is to stay gluten-free. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
