Does anyone know if the duck sauce that they have in Chinese restaurants is gluten-free? Yesterday one of my coworkers wanted to get Chinese food for lunch. ALthough I was worried I said ok. Thankfully the waiter passed on my request to make sure the wok and utensils they used to cook my food were washed thoroughly and I had no reaction to my tasteless steamed chicken with vegetables. Just wondering if next time this comes up I can atleast add duck sauce to it to give it some sort of taste.

Ok well I'm answering my own question for those interested. I found out from a friend (the easier version) that duck sauce is gluten-free.

Good alternative for chinese food when I don't feel like spending the money on PF Changs (which is awesome)!
