And gave my two vilas of blood. So now Im going gluten-free agian, and wiating on the results. I hate on wiating. Did I mention that i hate waiting? Cause I realy do. Waiting stinks!!

Oh and this is intreating dunno if its related or not but since going on gluten my bp been steadly going up. This time it was 142/98.

That's interesting about the BP....mine is regularly in the range you mention, and for YEARS this has been an issue for me. I'm technically not overweight, in good health other than the celiac disease stuff, don't take medicines EXCEPT....I've tried various BP meds and nothing really helped. Right now I take diuretics for BP and that helps a bit and it usually keeps it around 120/85 or so, but the other day when I was having such a horrible reaction with dizziness etc. it was up to 148/98 or some such. So here's another area that may have a connection to celiac disease....although not always, obviously, because my Mom had LOW BP for years. Go figure!

My BP is also in the same range as yours. I take 2 different BP meds. now and they seem to be keeping it in the normal range. Its been high for about 8 years now. Does this have something to do with celiac disease or just a coincidence?

If it makes you feel any better, I'm right here waiting with you. I had more blood taken on Friday, after getting a high AGA result. I still don't think that they are running all the tests people on here ask for, but I'm hoping it'll be enough. I started gluten-free on Saturday and immediately got relief from all my GI symptoms. I really hope I've found an answer! I can't believe how much better I feel...there has got to be a connection.

Part of me feels like I should still be eating gluten, since I may need more tests, but I just don't know if I can -- I feel so much better.

For some reason, though, I'm still expecting my blood work to come back negative.

They prbly WONT do all the test, most insurance will only cover one fo the tests, one that is considered for "screening" ttIGA or somthign like that.... I cant keep them straight.

Dunno all I know is I used to be on BP meds, then went low carb, lost 50 pounds and stopped the meds. BP was a bit high, but in normal range till I went back on gluten... could be conicdence ... or not, duno.

I'm also waiting on my blood test results--I can definetly relate!!

All this BP talk...when I went in on Friday, my BP was 104/61...Wednesday, right before my colonoscopy my BP was 116/84. I thought it would be higher than that because I was scared outta my mind! I guess that's a little high for me now, though...it makes sense though if my BP is going down since I have lost weight from not feeling good.

Yes! A few years ago, pre gluten-free, I went on the Atkins diet with a friend. I lost about 30 lbs. and was on BP meds. at the time. I got incredibly dizzy, and my BP got really low. Was taken off the meds. and was fine for a short time, but then it crept back up. Now I take Norvasc and Lisonopril. Anyway, hope you get your results back quickly
