Pfeffernuesse Cookie Recipe?

My husbands favorite Christmas cookie is the pfeffernuesse cookie. I need a gluten free recipe for these.

Can anyone help me, or give me some advice.

I know there are plenty of recipies for pfeffernuesse cookies out there, so I'd imagine a gluten-free one has been posted someplace. Failing that, I guess I'd consider the texture you're looking for, and also search for recipies for other cookies which have the same sort of consistancy. Then you can try the flour and such for that recipe, with the remainder of the ingredients from your preferred pfeffernuesse recipe. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your sugestion I was hoping that some one might have a tried and true recipe. I will keep checking and if I find a good recipe I will share it. My husband is a real cookie monster and I would love to make him a gluten free pfeffernuesse cookie for Christmas.

Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
