Is There An Internet Site For Checking Meds? RA drugs specifically
#1

I need to find out if my methotrexate, naproxyn, or prednisone have any gluten, also a host of vitamins and some other meds. Is there an online site for this? I have to wait forever to get information from my pharmacist and then I"m not quite sure I trust it.
Thanks
Ann
Thanks

You could try www.glutenfreedrugs.com.

Ann,
You can go to clanthompson.com
If you click on Download site and then click on Demo Download Page You will get a free drug list. You can also have access to a gluten free food list from this site.
Good luck.

Thank you Cindy! I will definitely check out the site. I am trying to make sure all my ra meds are not getting me glutened when I'm trying so hard to clean out! It would be nice to print off a gluten-free food list to carry with me too.
Thank you for you comments on my Dad. He was a good man by all accounts. That would be a funny looking 'Ann'

The fastest and most up-to-date is to call the manufacturers yourself. If they tell you they don't add gluten but they can't guarantee ingredient suppliers, it's gluten-free.
I don't bother to ask the pharmacist. They don't know and often don't have time to find out.

I like this website:

Click on the letter that your medication starts with under "Complete Pharmaceutical Monographs". When looking at medication, you should find the ingredients in the "Availability And Storage" section.

Thanks Carrie -
I looked up one of my medicines. You really have a lot to look through. When I got down to the ingredients it specifically said "Gluten Free".
