I can honestly tell you that I was down to just rice and chicken by the time I started on digestive enzymes to help me be able to include other foods. After a few weeks on those (at every meal!) I was able to use them less frequently and then after a month I was able to stop using them. I only use them now when I have a bit of trouble digesting something. I have been gluten-free for 4 months now and I noticed that I have not had heartburn or pain in a while. I do occasionally get a rumbly tummy and still some occasional diarrhea, but I am tummy pain free which is great. Hang in there, three weeks it not very long and it takes a while to get your body healed all the way.
