I guess I have to give up my beloved Balance Bars...they have soy and gluten. Does anyone know of any decent tasting protein bars without soy or gluten....or diary?

Bumble Bars are also good -- the package says gluten and dairy-free and I just read the ingredients and didn't see any soy -- just nuts, seeds, and brown rice syrup to hold it together.

Yep, my favorites are Lara Bars and Bumble Bars. Love me a Chocolate Bumble Bar with some natural peanut butter on it. :D

Where do you guys find Bumble Bars? I can't find them anywhere around me.

Lara bars are quite tasty though!

I get Bumble Bars at Whole Foods. They are different from other energy bars, in that they are literally seeds and nuts held together by a sticky rice syrup substance. They remind me of those cakes of bird feed. But they taste really yummy if you're into nuts and seeds!

I'm all about the nuts and seeds.

And peanut butter. And Nutella.

And Envirokids animal crackers.

WGibs, I think we would make fantastic friends. To bad we live on opposite sides of the country and can't get together for a snack! ;)

I know you can get the Bumble Bars in Canada. The one I tried was absolutely disgusting though. Theres ReBar bars that were alright and organic fruit bar things (yellow packaging)...if you look at the bar section at health food stores a ton are labelled gluten-free on the box they are in.

What about Atkins protein bars? Those are supposed to be gluten free too, am I right? I hope so because I just had one!

Oh and Balance energy bars, are NOT gluten free. They don't list gluten in the ingredients, but it clearly states that they use the same machinery to produce products containing wheat. I actually got glutened from them a couple of days ago, and it was BAD news. Still not 100% better yet.
