Is Any Kind Of Popcorn Ok?

Corn is gluten free, as is the subtype that is used for popcorn. Additives may not be, of course, so you have to check. Many microwave popcorns are gluten free (most) but not only are the chemicals used in the 'paper' bag unhealthy, you can just as easily use a lunch-size plain paper bag with two staples (at least three inches apart so they will be 'invisible' to the radiation) to pop regular popcorn if you don't want to take the time to use an air popper. (And this way, you can add a bit of salt and brown sugar for a light kettle corn like taste.) Prepopped popcorn will require a label reading as well.

I just checked Newman's Own website, and it looks like their microwave popcorn is gluten-free.
