I was at the grocery store yesterday and REALLY wanted some yogurt. I know from previous experience that the flavored Dannon yogurts are not gluten-free. Praire Farms does not have a contact #, and I'm too lazy (and impatient) to write them a letter. I thought I would call and check on the Breyer's yogurt. I called the number and the lady answered the phone - "This is Kraft foods" I didn't realize that Kraft owned breyer's! I know that Kraft labels all of their ingredients so I said "Oh you answered my question for me! I was wondering if something was gluten-free, but I know you label it!" She said ok and hung up. I have now eaten 3 of them (I REALLY wanted yogurt) and I am starting to have some stomach symptoms. I tried to call the number again, but they are closed today, and the only thing I could find online was a note from 2002 that said Breyers no longer guarenteed their product gluten-free! Does anyone know if Krafts labeling policy extends to it's subsidiary companies, or if Breyer's yogurt is gluten-free?
