My 18 year old son scored a 32 on the ABS test and the doctor said that it meant he had a wheat allergy. The only symptom he has is a big increase in the frequency and urgency of going to the bathroom along with a little bit of nausea and stomach cramping.
Most of what he eats (the rest of the family as well) has some kind of wheat in it and he is a very picky eater so we are kind of distressed about what to do and what exactly that he is allowed to have that he actually likes. Did we cause this by allowing too much wheat products in his diet without enough variety?
Thanks for any responses
