I've been eating McCann's as well. I looked at their website and it didn't make me nervous since they pretty much stick to oatmeal. Quaker makes EVERYTHING, so I don't even want to try their stuff. I usually eat the instant stuff, and I stopped eating some of the flavors just because I have no idea what those are. So far I've only noticed that I feel funny after those instant flavors but I've had oats in other places like Luna bars and I felt ok. I'm still new at figuring out what makes me feel bad though.

hey guys im doing much better now. ive felt a lot of withdrawal since coming of gluten. i went accupuncture for my 3rd time today. they say after the 5th i will feel and see the benefits.

did you know that grains at all may not even be good for us in the long term?

apparently only birds are capable of digesting grains. even rice may cause us bad digestion so im going to avoid even the non gluten gluten grains as much as possible.

when the immune system is stronger will it fight away any parasites or other things while eating lot's of parasite killing herbs like cumin caraway etc. oh by the way everytime i eat cinnamon i sneeze after a while. ive cut it out for two days now and guess what no more everyday sneezing. i ate cinnamon on a lot of things.

oh one more thing i found out that you can rid your body of worms by eating a piece of jaggery in the morning first thing then 5 minutes later eat a tea spoon of caraway seed and it should purge them out. just thought id share

Can those dark circles come from anything else besides food intolerances and allergies? I suggested the gluten-free thing to my friend last week because he's been out sick a lot in the last six months. He's always had major dark circles (worse than anyone I've ever seen) as long as I've known him. It turns out that his mother had to start a gluten-free diet this year! I probably got it right, but I'm curious if anything else can cause those circles.

I have had circles under my eyes my whole life. I'm not sure if I have Celiac yet, but I'm kind of hoping I do since I will know what is wrong with me. I don't know if I can take years of trying to find out what is wrong. My DS also has dark circles under his eyes, but you can't see them as much because his skin is a little darker than mine.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
