Yesterday when I was at Mama's Italian restaurant I asked John if he could make gluten free rainbow cookies. He told me that there was a bakery in Westbury, NY that had them but couldn't remember the name, but there was a health food store in Wantagh that carries them. Well ofcourse that is exactly where we went right after we left his restaurant.
I just tried them and OMG they are incredible!!! I know the package says they are gluten free but I'm having a hard time believing them. I mean there had to be some mix up. This is better than any rainbow cookie I've ever tasted before. The store is called Earth Remedies in Wantagh, NY. I don't know if they ship. If you want to call them their number is (516) 785-7977.
I just called to thank John for the recommendation and he said he just got a recipe for them and is going to try to make them himself.
