I have bought the Life stream mesa sunrise waffles before and have eaten them with no problems, they say gluten free on them and have no warning about cross contamination.

Last time I was in the store they also had buckwheat waffles that said Gluten free and non gluten ingredients. I just ate 2 of them and my belly is making a little noise (which isn't really unusual) so that made me get up and check and the Buckwheat ones say made in a factory with gluten ingredients.

Has anyone had these before? Was I glutened?

Never used them, but it sounds like it could be CC. The other thought I had was the maybe you are sensitive to buckwheat.

I eat their buckweat waffles every morning. They are so good. No problems with them though...not so far anyway. I''ve been having them for breakfast almost every morning for the las 4 months.

Buckwheat is a member of the rhubarb family and quite a few people are intollerent to it. I can't eat rhubarb without stomach pain and cramping, although I can get away with a little bit of buckwheat at a time. But I do have trouble with the waffles. I guess there is quite a bit of buckwheat in them.

I can eat the Buckwheat ones with no problems but the Mesa Sunrise stuff just about kills me. Maybe the company does have CC issues or something.

I have stopped eating them because of the potential cc issue.
