Never thought about nail polish before it was recently posted. I now know OPI (which I love) is safe. Are there others that are not? I have a huge tub of nail polish - can't imagine contacting everybody, plus some are probably not made any longer.

I use OPI so I'm thrilled to know it's safe.

fwiw, almost all nail polish has phlalates, a fat-soluble toxin that can build up in humans and is absorbed throug the skin. it's one reason I don't wear the stuff. (but it's a personal call, of course.)

I can tell you that Mary Kay is not ok!
EnteroLab test positive for gluten intolerence and 2 gluten intolerence and celiac genes
DQ2 and DQ3 sub type DQ7 in December 2005
Gluten-free since Enterolab test, December 2, 2005.

Lame Advertisement Test positive for gluten intolerence in Sept 2005.
THEN found out that my fathers mother had nontropical sprue, she passed away at 40 from (stomach) cancer, had holes in her intestines when they caught it. I had no idea....

So does that mean most Mary Kay products are off limits? I've been using their lipstick. Kathy
