RE: Kellogg North America Co. issues allergy alert on undeclared milk
wheat in Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.
Kellogg North America Co. wishes to notify Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis
Network members that it has initiated an allergy alert and recall on a
limited number of 18-oz. packages of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes cereal
they contain undeclared milk and wheat. This recall was initiated after
investigation revealed that another Kellogg cereal, containing milk and
wheat ingredients, was inadvertently packed in Corn Flakes cartons. No
other Kellogg products are involved in this recall.
The Kellogg’s Corn Flakes® cereal affected by this recall bears a UPC
of 381200 and Better If Used Before Date of MAR 31 2005 KLB 009 printed
the top of the package. This product was distributed through retail
stores in the Midwest and Western U.S.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled 18-oz. Kellogg’s Corn Flakes
cereal bearing a UPC code of 381200 and Better If Used Before Date of
31 2005 KLB 009 and who have questions regarding these products can
