I was at Swiss Chalet the other day and they had a celiac, gluten free menu! I actually got to keep the menu! It was great! :D

Swiss Chalet is the only restaurant that I know that has a gluten-free menu in Canada (Other than the fast food chains like Wendy's, Burger King, and MacDonald's)

Has anyone else been to restaurants in Canada that offer gluten-free menus?

Thanks! B)

Hi Carrie!

I'm flying up to Canada mid-July and my parents love eating out. So I'm a little nervous about where I can eat. I'm wondering where we can go other than Swiss Chalet & the fast food chains, too! Anyone else have places we can try that are gluten-free? We'd really appreciate it!

Going to Montreal. Thanks for trying to help out! Maybe those restaurants are there also. Guess I should have added where I was traveling to, eh?

I do know that GLUTINO is based in Montreal and not far from my parents home so I'll visit there. My parents said they'll try to help, but I can't rely on them. They don't really understand the issue.

Do you, or any friends, happen to know of any restaurants that are Celiac friendly in Montreal? I'd be appreciative! I'm new at the diet and worried about traveling while on a gluten-free diet. I so do NOT want to be sick while traveling - it's just not a good combination, if you know what I mean!
