Anyone know if any gluten free restaurants/stores in Traverse City, Michigan? My mom is flying in from Buffalo, Wyoming for my son's graduation on Monday. I live in Midland and I'd like to take her to Traverse City to see Lake Michigan. She is a celiac also. Anyone from Michigan know of any gluten free places to go? In Wyoming, there is not alot available and it would be neat to help find some foods that she doesn't have to order on the internte and take her on a gluten-free shopping spree. Thanks. Tara

I realize this is an old post but it was never answered so I thought I would answer it. :)

Gluten Free in TC:

Outback Steakhouse - Gluten Free Menu

Red Mesa Grill - Gluten Free Menu

La Senorita - I know the Chicken Wings are gluten free but the free chips are not.

Applebees - Chicken Caesar Salad minus bread sticks and croutons is gluten free. :)

Auntie Pasta's - No gluten free menu but they do understand our condition.

Burger King - not fancy but always gluten free! :)

Oryana Cafe - Serves sandwiches/wraps on gluten free bread/wraps

La Cuisine Amical - Gluten Free Menu

Jack's Market - Gluten Free Beer (not a restaurant)

Tuscan Bistro - Gluten Friendly

Home Grown Organic Eatery - Gluten Free Pizza!

310 Restaurant and Lounge - Gluten Free Menu

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
