Article On Celiac In "for Me" Magazine

There's a new magazine called "For Me" that I picked up the other day. In the June issue (Reese Witherspoon on the cover) on page 55, there is a short article, about 3/4 page, entitled "IBS or Celiac?".

It's a pretty good article. My only issue with it is it didn't go into as many symptoms as I would have liked, but with hundreds of symptoms, there's only so much they can say. They did say that it mimics IBS. They also mention Peter H.R. Green, M.D. as their source. They quote him as saying that many doctors don't even consider celiac, and not to be too shy to ask for the blood test.

They mention Outback and PF Changs as having celiac-friendly menus, and Trader Joe's as having a list of gluten-free foods.

So for 3/4 of a page, I think they did a really good job.

YAY!!!

Nancy

Cool! The May issue of Women's Health printed a letter from someone adding Celiac to an article about IBS causes. It was just a little mention, but every little bit helps.
