Hi. I feel like I have that kind of belly too, and I'm not even the celiac of the family!
But seriously, you didn't mention how old you are or how long you've been on the diet. Have you been very sick and underweight? You see a lot of this in children when celiac is the cause. If malabsorption is the culprit, it should improve with time on the gluten free diet.

If it makes you feel any better, I look like stuffed sausage
All I can reccommend is lots of water and green tea to control the water retention

Alright, don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy
We'll all float on, alright
Well we'll float on good news is on the way...

I find there's more than just wheat out there that irritates my GI tract, and when the GI tract is unhappy, the belly swells. For me, it seems that almost any grain and dairy do a number on me. If I avoid all those, my tummy gets nice a flat.

ive cut out dairy as ive had a posotive result ofr lactose inoleance, im wondering if its wheat, ive tried to keeep away from most things like that but something is slipping through the net, i drink green tea and lots water to keep hydrated as im training for a marathon, my doc has put me on iron tabs i think that has a lot to do with it, had an achy belly for a week now, cant stop takeing tho cos im anemic, dont like spinach ( im not popeye) and theres only so much brocoli you can eat without wanting to puke, is there something else foe me to try, i love marmite but have nothing to spread it on cant find bread that is lactose free and i cant have margerine, so frustating!

Maybe your doc can put you on a different iron. Broccoli can cause gas (bloat), especially if it's raw.
My stomach still sticks out some, I'm hoping that getting off casein will help. It's not noticeable to others though, just me, but it seems that given as much as I work out and as good as my diet it, it shouldn't be so round.

I looked pregnant also. It was awful. I was so bloated, I could just cry. I lost all of the bloatedness and cleaned my system out with the specific carbohydrate diet..... amazing. Didn't take but about 2 months before I had an absolutely flat stomach again.
I LOVE JESUS!

Could be the iron, I know it irritates my stomach. You can get iron from dark or blackstrap molasses. Another "acquired" taste.
Also, cooking with cast iron pans will get you some more iron as well.
