Scary News Story On E Coli

this is so scary... I had a bout with e coli last year... and we couldn't figure out why... maybe this is the answer, also, maybe why I continue to think I keep "getting glutened"...

Very scary. I eat this stuff all the time.

Maybe it is time to switch to whole romaine and lettuces and cut it up myself.

Lots of restaurants use bagged lettuce as well. I've gotten sick from salads numerous times. When I worked at a Denny's in 1998 they insisted that we wash all the bagged lettuce because the company knew it was the main cause of food poisoning from their restaurants.
