Okay, I did it! I joined WW today! Anybody have any feedback on which plan they think works the best for us as celiacs (points plan or core plan)???

Any good gluten-free food finds that work well w/ WW?? I already know and have accepted that gluten-free bread is a killer b/c of the points per slice. HAHA!

Hi! I haven't joined but got a flier in the mail the other day and am considering it. Let me know how this works out for you. I was in WW in the past and was always dropping out because I'd get sick and just give up. Now I think I would be ok if the plan was right. This is a good thread to start, thanks :)

Turtle; Our oldest daughter and our granddaughter have both been going to WW for a bit over a year. daughter has reached her goal and maintains but her daughter is not quite as motivated, partly because her husband is mainly a meat & potato guy. i think they are on the point system. Neither of them are gluten free so have no ideas on that. Since they both have out of home jobs it gives them a chance to go in to town to shop after meeting!! Good luck to you. ps our daughter makes a point of eating a small peice of dark chocolate + 6 almonds every day, says it helps keep down the cravings. evie

A friend of mine who has been a member for a year or so has been trying to recruit me. She says the Core plan would be perfect for me with the Celiac diet. I haven't jumped on board yet because I'm still slowly losing weight just from going gluten-free. :)

Good luck on either plan that you chose. It is more a personal choice of core plan vs. points plan. I'm not celiac, but my 2 children are, and I actually met a lady at WW who has celiac and she has utilized both plans with success. My personal choice has always been the points. I've been a life-time member for 1 1/2 years and lost 26 lbs. AND have kept it off.

Thanks everyone who has posted.
I too have always done the points plan and that's what i'm starting out with b/c I'm familiar w/ it and blah, blah. Guess we'll see how it plays out and how challenging it will be with gluten-free foods. I think the hard part will be balancing the gluten-free foods that I enjoy b/c they are so high in points (i.e. bread, homemade blueberry muffins, banana bread, etc.).
