Hi. I'm looking for some nice non-flavored tortilla chips. I like the healthier kind, organic, that kind of thing. But so far haven't found any that are gluten free. I miss my "mexican salad" which is salad plus black beans plus crushed tortilla chips plus avocado plus salsa vinegrette.

Anyone know of any good healthy brands that are gluten-free?

They are not organic but Mission tortilla chips are gluten free. Tostitos are too!

Green Mountain Gringo makes awesome gluten-free tortilla chips, they are actually in more of a "strip" shape than a triangular chip, but the taste is awesome and they are great for dipping, and they are labeled gluten-free right on the bag. I also get the Green Mountain Gringo salsa to dip them in... very yummy.

Lays makes a "Naturals" brand of Tostitos too, and they're fantastic.

I wrote to Gadren of Eatin (a subsidiary of Hain) and they said the chips are made in a facility that handles gluten, so I figured they were out (along with Bearito's Refried Beans - my favorite - also made by Hain). I'll check out Lundberg though. I tried Mission last night, but I prefer the more natural brands, hopefully organic. (I am reading a really interesting book about the organic empire, though, which is making me think buying from local farmers should be the first choice, then organic, then regular).

Thanks to all.

Mission, Santitas, and Tostitos are the brands that I buy. Mission ends up in my shopping cart more than the others though.

Oh yes!

Rotel is the college staple at the University of Arkansas. It doesn't get better than rotel and velveeta...

Yum...

And as American as apple pie B)

I'll have to echo Green Mountain Gringo - there is just something so delicious about those chips!
I also like that they are strips vs. triangles.
