I thought this might help some of you. I started using Magnesium Citrate in powder form. It makes my mild anxiety go away giving me a nice, calm feeling. It also makes me feel refreshed and a little more energized.

It did cause loose stool though, so I made sure that I took my digestive enzymes. In addition, I decided to cut the dose back from one teaspoon per glass to half a teaspoon per glass.

I am sure someone else will benefit from this mineral. :D

Thanks for sharing. I'm taking magnesium before bed in the hopes that I'll stop clenching my teeth while I sleep.

inquirer - The last issue of Energy Times said taking magnesium and pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5) for at least five weeks has helped people stop clenching their teeth.

You're already taking magnesium, so it might be worth adding the B-5. I've been thinking of trying it myself.

You mean that there is actually something you can do about teeth clenching?? I do this constantly, not just when I'm asleep, and I have never been able to stop (my father does it too, all the time). Please tell me more!

Frenchiemama,

I hope you have a night guard so you can protect your teeth. I wear one at night but I often times remove it in my sleep. I've read that mineral deficiencies can cause clenching so that's why I'm taking the magnesium and I'm going to add the B5!
